Like most Indians i also am a cricket enthusiast..I also am an opinionated individual who would like to put forth his ideas and express his views on issues that draw my attention!
It goes without saying that IPL has caught our imagination and we are gripped with the IPL fever..even people with the faintest inclination towards cricket are seen flocking in numbers at stadiums...Very recently i have come to learn that its has been ranked only next to NBA in terms of highest playing leagues... what money man!! i dread to think..Lalit Modi's foresight and future plans to make IPL as popular as an EPL is just a matter of time....given the ever increasing popularity of T20 cricket..whats more it could be there in Olympics as well..!!
Apart from the dazzling display of cricketing skills,the cheerleaders and bollywood hotties have been a cause for such mad rushes..the cricketers now have something to play for:)
I am an ardent fan of MI precisely Sachin..but my heart goes out for KKR as well..only if Ganguly could undergo a self assessment exercise and then truly honor the outcome of that test then things can improve for KKR even at this stage..then there are 2 more prolific players in the KKR camp who have just made it a little more difficult..Dinda & Sharma..Ishant seems to be at his worst..he makes it to the bowling crease with great difficulty when the winds are blowing against him and his disappointingly predictable... Dinda does just about average till the time he has the ball in his hands but once he releases it after jumping like an antelope things go awry..
What interests me is the Punjab team.Jayawardene & Sangakkara are the luckiest ..they have been hugged by the dimpled beauty repeatedly...good takeaways from the IPL for them.
Very recently Priety made a statement calling Yuvi her younger brother.. oouuuchhh!Losing captaincy would not have hurt him that much.No wonder he is least interested about his batting & is seen moving about sluggishly on the field like a python that has swallowed a 4 legged creature!!
The bone of contention in this IPL season has been 'classicism Vs inventiveness'.IPL has not yet finished but from what i have seen in this edition i have been awestruck with what the classicists have done so far..but it would be preposterous to come out with a clean verdict ..so I will hold on for a while.
